The Burn is run by Goodenough College an independent educational charitable body whose patron is Her Majesty The Queen.
Goodenough College was founded by Sir Frederick Craufurd Goodenough (1866-1934), Chairman of Barclays Bank in 1931. It provided collegial-style accommodation for postgraduate students from the British Dominions. The College is now fully international and provides high quality residential accommodation for international postgraduate students from all major London universities. It offers a unique academic community for over 700 students from over 90 countries in the heart of Bloomsbury with a vibrant cultural and social life. There is 4-star guest accommodation at the Goodenough Club in superbly refurbished Georgian town-houses on one of London’s most attractive garden squares.
Members of Goodenough College love to visit The Burn, and the experience has given unforgettable memories to College Members from all over the world.
